Graphic Signs and Symbols: Koala Infographics

One of the best thing about this assignment is that I get to pick any endangered animal I would love to do and of course I picked Koala bears. At the zoo or aquarium info graphics need to be designed and installed next to the species exhibit, educating the public about the direct and indirect threats on their  environment. Pick one species that is endangered, research its environment and  what it eats. The info graphic needs to be informative and increase retention of the subject matter. Graphic simplicity will be created to represent info in a form of icons and symbols. Scale of icons will be effective when representing data. Pie charts and bar graphs are traditional forms of info graphics and not visually compelling.

Love Song

I recently got this project from Illustration class where I had to create an illustration for a song of my choice. The song I chose was: Missing You Like Crazy - Michael Alvarado

This is one of my favorite songs and because of this project, I understand the story of the song from the lyrics. The story is about a girl and a boy living far apart. They miss each other, but they couldn't see each other. The reason why I made a ferris wheel is that, the mood of the story reminds me of being on a Disneyland or somewhere happy, but the meaning of the song is sad. When looking at the picture, you can see that the mood is happy, cheerful, happy-go-lucky, and elated, but the people in it are not happy because they are far apart.
